As you can see in the picture O’Neil Ford continues his efforts at bringing nature as close to inside the home as possible. Trees are a sign of life and prosperity with brings a clam tranquil presence to them home. The metal roofing is also a great addition as it adds to the cabin feel of the house. The light colored bricks highlight the greenery around it. Southern comfort at its finest.

The VitraHaus is a museum which was contributed to Germany’s Vitra design museum. It appears to be a series of stacked houses with glasses on the ends. This is my personal favorite design by this architecture firm . I would love to live in a place like this.

The “bird’s Nest” is the Beijing national stadium and was originally designed for the 2008 summer Olympics. The building features a chaotic web of steel beams on the exterior

The Laban Centre in London. Largest school for contemporary dance in the world. Opened in 2003 with exterior glass panels. When the sun hits the glass it shows off different colors like lime, turquoise, and magenta.

The prada flagship store in Tokyo. Comes with crosshatched exterior with convex, concave, and flat panels of glass. illuminates the store with natural light. One one of the most creative store designs iv’e ever seen.

Gallardia country club, located in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. The Gallardia is by far one of the best neighborhoods and country clubs I have seen in Oklahoma. This place means a lot to me because during the holidays it is always very festive. The Christmas lights on each house is always astonishing.

The university of Oklahoma great reading room. This room is located in the bizzelle library. This room is very spacious and designed for great focus. By far my favorite place to study on campus. The design of the place gives off a very productive energy.

O’Neil Ford is known as the grandfather of current Texas Architecture. This house designed by ford is a one story house with lots of windows and a car port in teh driveway, which was ahead of his time. The squares and rectangular shapes the homes bring are still incorporated in modern architecture today.  In the south people appreciate nature and Ford tries to incorporate that into his design.

Dubai creek tower. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the creek tower is one of the tallest towers in the world. Surprisingly it is still under construction and is set to be completed in 2020. It is estimated to be 2,717 ft tall. This building, along with other buildings in Dubai have always been a main attraction to me, and within the next few months I will be able to see it in person.

Located In the heart of Oklahoma city, Oklahoma is a very beautiful well-known building called the Devon tower. Being raised in Oklahoma city, this building has a lot o value and meaning to the city. This building is by far the tallest and most aesthetically pleasing building in downtown Okc. I’ve had the opportunity to eat at a restaurant called Vast, which is located on the top floors of the Devon tower
